Improve Sourcing Control

It’s important for sourcing control to have visibility into as many tiers of the supply chain as possible. For example, if you (tier 1) are making cars, it’s ideal to have visibility of the companies you buy parts from (tier 2), as well as the other factories they source from (tier 3), and so on. The intermediaries often restrict visibility, making it harder to anticipate problems in the supply chain. Increasing your sourcing visibility will be done by disintermediation of the back end.
